On July 30–31, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE) successfully hosted the 8th International Conference on Green Technology and Sustainable Development (GTSD 2026).
The conference brought together more than 200 scientists, experts, academics, researchers, and industry representatives from many countries and territories, including Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Germany, Slovenia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Thailand, to share the latest research findings and strengthen international collaboration for sustainable development.

📌GTSD 2026 at a Glance: 
👉 655 research papers were submitted to the conference.
👉 286 high-quality papers were accepted for presentation following a rigorous peer-review process.
👉 The conference proceedings will be published by Springer, IEEE Xplore, and VNUHCM Press.

Held biennially, GTSD has become one of the leading international academic forums in the fields of green technology and sustainable development. GTSD 2026 was hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (Vietnam) in collaboration with Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam), National Taipei University of Technology (Taiwan), Adelaide University (Australia), and Quezon City University (the Philippines). The continued support and participation of domestic and international partners reaffirm the conference's growing reputation and shared commitment to advancing research collaboration, innovation, and sustainable scientific development among higher education institutions worldwide.
